Enforcement Directorate (ED) yesterday recovered 20 crore rupees more cash from West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee's aide Arpita Mukherjee's second residence in South Kolkata. So far, more than 40 crore rupees have been recovered from Arpita Mukherjee's residence. The huge amount of cash seized is linked to the teacher recruitment scam in the state. The entire cash recovered is yet to be counted. Cash counting machines were brought by ED to the residence of Mukherjee. Besides cash, a number of other incriminating documents, records, details of dubious companies, electronic devices, foreign currency and gold have also been recovered from various premises of the persons linked to the scam.
