Home Minister Amit Shah today greeted people on National Panchayati Raj Day. In a tweet, Mr Shah said, strong and modern panchayats are the foundation of self-reliant India.
He said, the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dedicated to the poor and welfare of farmers and through its policies, it has given a new direction to the social and economic development of the villages by strengthening and modernizing the Panchayati Raj system.
