Krivak class or Talwar class Guided Missile frigate

The Talwar-Class guided missile frigate is a modified Krivak III-Class frigate in service with the Indian Navy.
Built by Baltiysky Zavod Yantar Shipyard, the frigate supports naval forces during air, surface and sub-surface missions.
It is also used to detect and destroy enemy submarines and other surface ships.
Recent Update
India and Russia signed an agreement for the purchase and construction of four additional upgraded Krivak III-class stealth frigates
Two frigates will be directly supplied by Yantar Shipyard of Russia and two others built at state-owned Goa Shipyard Limited in India through a technology transfer.
The frigates will be powered by Ukrainian gas turbine engines.
They will also be equipped with Indian-built radar, sonar, communication suites and anti-ship BrahMos missile systems
