President Ram Nath Kovind confers honorary rank of General of Indian Army to Nepal Army Chief at Rashtrapati Bhavan

President Ram Nath Kovind today conferred the honorary rank of General of Indian Army to Nepal Army Chief Prabhu Ram Sharma at a special function at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Indian Army Chief General Manoj Naravane was conferred the rank of Honorary General of the Nepal Army in November 2020 by the Nepal's President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

General Prabhu Ram Sharma is in India for a three-day official visit since yesterday. He met the Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal V. R. Chaudhari yesterday.
