Prez Kovind to unveil a bronze statue of PN Panicker 'father of library movement' in Kerala

President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram today to attend various programmes in the capital city. The President will unveil a bronze statue of PN Panicker, father of library movement in Kerala, at Poojappura around 11.30 am. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan, and other dignitaries will attend the ceremony along with the President. Mr. Kovind will also visit the famous Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Thiruvananthapuram, this evening. After completing four-day visit to Kerala, the President will return to New Delhi tomorrow. During the visit, Mr Kovind attended the convocation of Central University of Kerala in Kasaragod on Tuesday. He also witnessed the operational review of Southern Naval Command and visited INS Vikrant cell yesterday in Kochi.
