Dr K.L.Rao Sagar Pulichintala Project is a balancing reservoir constructed across river Krishna near Pulichinta Village in Guntur District
Kanuru Lakshmana Rao (15 July 1902 – 18 May 1986) was an Indian engineer and a Padma Bhushan awardee who served as the Union Minister of Irrigation & Power and Member of Parliament for Vijayawada from 1962 to 1977.
About Krishna River
The Krishna River is the fourth-biggest river in terms of water inflows and river basin area in India, after the Ganga, Godavari and Brahmaputra.
It flows through Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
The two largest tributaries are the Bhima (north/left bank) and the Tungabhadra (south/right bank).
